Seoul Songdo Hospital began in 1981 when the number of colorectal, anal, and rectal diseases caused by westernized eating habits began to increase.

Now, aiming to become a world-class colorectal hospital beyond South Korea, it continues to foster international exchanges and collaborations with various countries, including the establishment of a colorectal hospital in Mongolia.
